AccessOwl is seeking a Technical Account Manager (Identity & Access Management) to play a pivotal role in shaping the success of their rapidly growing SaaS platform. This full-time, remote position, backed by Y Combinator, offers the opportunity to directly collaborate with IT and security teams at some of the world’s fastest-growing companies, providing strategic guidance, technical support, and proactive account management. The Technical Account Manager will serve as the primary technical and strategic partner, guiding customers through all stages of the AccessOwl journey, from onboarding and implementation to deeper technical adoption and expansion of usage. The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of experience in IT administration or MSP environments, coupled with a customer-facing background—demonstrating an ability to engage confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including CTOs, IT admins, and InfoSec teams. Strong knowledge of IT, identity, and SaaS ecosystems, such as Google Workspace, Okta, Microsoft Entra, SSO, SCIM, or related tools, is critical. Further, experience with SOC 2 or ISO27001 requirements around access controls is a significant plus. Beyond technical proficiency, this role demands a builder mindset, leveraging automation tools like Zapier or n8n to streamline workflows and reduce repetitive tasks. The candidate should thrive in a startup environment, recognizing the need to shape processes rather than simply following pre-defined protocols. A proactive approach is expected, involving ongoing account health monitoring, risk mitigation, and identification of opportunities to broaden AccessOwl's impact. Effectively translating customer requirements into configurations and recommended architectures is a key responsibility, alongside troubleshooting technical issues in collaboration with engineering and product teams. Furthermore, the Technical Account Manager will champion customer feedback internally, driving roadmap decisions based on real-world needs. AccessOwl’s mission is to radically simplify SaaS access management, tackling the inefficiency caused by the “SaaS Tax” through an AI-native approach. This role directly contributes to transforming how modern IT admins work, replacing traditional, manual processes with automated workflows. The backing of Y Combinator provides a stable and ambitious foundation, while a small, team focused on customer impact allows for growth and ownership. This position represents a unique opportunity to influence the direction of an innovative startup, working closely with founders and a team dedicated to building a sustainable and impactful business. Philip Eller and the team at AccessOwl are focused on building a new category that changes how enterprise software is managed. |
