I've sorted through the junk to find the best Cyber Monday laptop deals, and I'm happy to report that most of my favorite laptops I tested this year are on sale right now. Even better, some laptops I thought were overpriced at launch now have such steep discounts that they've risen in value in my estimation. So, if you've been waiting to buy a laptop at the right moment, this is it. One of these laptops should fit exactly what you're looking for at a wide range of prices.Hunting for more deals? While the MacBook Air is the better laptop, there's no question that the Dell 14 Plus is the best deal. It comes with great specs: 16 GB of RAM, 512 GB of storage, and an Intel Core Ultra 5 226V. I reviewed the model with the Core Ultra 7 258V, but either way, you're getting really good battery life and integrated graphics performance. Most importantly, it avoids the two main pitfalls of budget laptops: poor displays and touchpads. The Dell 14 Plus comes with a high-resolution display (2560 x 1600) and a very smooth-feeling touchpad. It's literally a premium laptop for an affordable price, and at $500, it's officially the best deal on a laptop this Cyber Monday It's a doorbuster-style deal, however, so once it's sold out, the price may change.Update: The $500 discount has sold out, however, you can still buy the Core Ultra 7 model for $650.The Price on the Surface Laptop EverPhotograph: Brenda StolyarPhotograph: Best BuyChevronChevronMicrosoftSurface Laptop (7th Edition, 2024)$909 $700 (23% off) Amazon$1,200 $1,000 (17% off) Walmart$1,200 $750 (38% off) Microsoft (Snapdragon X Plus)$1,500 $1,050 (30% off) Best Buy (15-inch)The Surface Laptop has dropped by extra $50 just for Cyber Monday on Amazon, dropping it to a new all-time low price of $700. Not only is the lowest price we've ever seen on the Surface Laptop, it's on the high-end configuration, which comes with the faster Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite (rather than the X Plus). It feels mind-boggling that a laptop this high-end could cost only $700, with features like a glossy, 3:2 display with a 120-Hz refresh rate to boot. It's gorgeous. So, while the Dell 14 Plus comes with more storage (for $50 less), the Surface Laptop definitely feels more sleek and high-end.An Extremely Lightweight LaptopPhotograph: Christopher NullAsusZenbook A14$748 $679 (9% off) Amazon$1,000 Best Buy (X Plus)$1,200 $900 (25% off) AsusThe Asus Zenbook A14 is one of the lightest laptops you can buy right now. At 2.16 pounds, it's a fair bit lighter even than the MacBook Air. Throw this thing in your bag, and you'll hardly even notice it's there. That makes it a great option for students needing to trek across campus or frequent travelers bringing their work on the go. But what really makes this laptop special is the lack of compromises it makes to achieve that weight. It's well-built, thin, and has a comfortable keyboard and touchpad. And thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus inside, it gets fantastic, all-day battery life. I also really like the glossy OLED display. So, while the Dell 14 Plus is a more well-rounded Windows laptop with a higher-resolution screen, the Zenbook A14's portability is hard to beat—especially at this price.A Solid Budget LaptopPhotograph: Luke LarsenAsusVivobook 14 (X1407QA)$750 $688 (8% off) Amazon$750 $650 (13% off) Best Buy$700 AsusThe Asus Vivobook 14 is one of the few Snapdragon X-powered laptops bringing efficient performance and excellent battery life to surprisingly low prices. It's $200 off for Cyber Monday, which brings it down to the same price as on the last Amazon Prime Day. There's really only one problem: the Dell 14 Plus. By every measure, that's the laptop you should buy. Not only is it cheaper, but it also has a much better display, touchpad, and integrated GPU performance. So, while I'd recommend that to most laptop shoppers, now that the Dell 14 Plus sale has sold out, the Asus Vivobook 14 is the cheapest Windows laptop worth buying today.High-End Surface ProPhotograph: Christopher NullCourtesy of MicrosoftCourtesy of MicrosoftPhotograph: Christopher NullChevronChevronMicrosoftSurface Pro 13-inch (11th Edition, 2024)$1,400 $900 (36% off) Amazon (OLED)$1,700 $1,200 (29% off) Best Buy$1,200 $750 (38% off) MicrosoftThe OLED Surface Pro was excellent when it came out in mid-2024. It was the first time the Surface Pro got an OLED panel, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus/Elite chip finally gave this Windows tablet the performance and battery life needed to compete with the iPad Pro. The only problem? It was too expensive. But for Cyber Monday, the OLED Surface Pro is $500 off, bringing the price down to just $900. The one caveat to remember is that you'll still need to buy a Surface Type Cover Keyboard to pair it with. Together, you have a 2-in-1 laptop that's the ultimate travel companion and a full PC replacement.MacBooksThe MacBook Most People Should BuyPhotograph: Brenda StolyarAppleMacBook Air (M4, 2025)$1,199 $949 (21% off) Amazon (15-inch)$999 $749 (25% off) Best Buy (13-inch)$999 Apple$999 $738 (26% off) Amazon (13-inch)Since its launch this spring, the M4 MacBook Air has been the best laptop you can buy. It has also continued to drop in price slowly month after month, now down to just $749. That's low enough that it's not worth buying cheaper, older MacBook Airs, such as the M2 model. The difference in performance (and external display support) is worth far more. The M5 model is likely coming sometime in early 2026, but it'll be a long time before it comes down to the price of the M4 right now. Come and get it while it's hot.I've collected the best Cyber Monday MacBook deals here for more recommendations and discussion on which MacBook deal is right for you.The Latest MacBook ProPhotograph: Luke LarsenPhotograph: Luke LarsenPhotograph: Luke LarsenPhotograph: Luke LarsenChevronChevronAppleMacBook Pro (M5)$1,599 $1,349 (16% off) Amazon$1,599 $1,399 (13% off) Best Buy$1,599 AppleThe MacBook Air is a better value, yes. And the M4 Pro or M4 Max MacBooks are more powerful. But the base 14-inch MacBook Pro is the only Mac right now with the latest M5 chip, which launched just a month ago. I wish Apple had included other features in this update, as the M5 is the only change over the M4 model. The good news is that the M5 MacBook Pro (8/10, WIRED Recommends) offers a solid performance increase in all areas, including CPU, GPU, and even the Neural Engine. More important is the $200 discount just a month after it launched.ChromebooksThe Best Chromebook DealPhotograph: Luke LarsenPhotograph: Luke LarsenPhotograph: Luke LarsenChevronChevronAcerChromebook Plus 516$479 $279 (42% off) Best BuyThere's never been a Chromebook at this price as good as the Acer Chromebook Plus 516—at least, not at it's current Cyber Monday price. Despite being a new laptop from this year, it's great to see the price drop by well under $300, making the higher specs of Chromebook Plus devices accessible to nearly everyone. The display and performance are far and above other Chromebooks at this price though. My biggest pet peeve on budget laptops is the typical low quality of the touchpad. And even there, the Acer Chromebook Plus 516 has a touchpad that you make you hate your life.A Budget-Friendly ChromebookPhotograph: Luke LarsenPhotograph: Luke LarsenPhotograph: Luke LarsenPhotograph: Luke LarsenChevronChevronAsusChromebook CX14$429 $249 (42% off) Best BuyChromebooks are known for cheap prices, and as good as the Chromebook Plus models have gotten, there will always be a need for cheap Chromebooks that aren't awful to use. The Asus Chromebook CX14 fills that role decently well. It's well-built, fairly portable, and has lots of ports. It's not without its issues, of course. The touchpad feels clumsy to use and colors on the screen look off. It's the nature of laptops this cheap. The Acer Chromebook Plus 516 is worth the upgrade if you can afford it, but it's hard to deny the current price of the CX14.Gaming LaptopsThe Best Alienware LaptopPhotograph: Luke LarsenPhotograph: Luke LarsenPhotograph: Luke LarsenPhotograph: Luke LarsenChevronChevronAlienware16X Aurora$1,400 $1,100 (21% off) Amazon$1,650 $1,300 (21% off) Dell$1,800 Best Buy (32 GB)The Alienware 16X Aurora delivers solid RTX 5060-level performance and features for the price. That's what the Razer Blade 14 (8/10, WIRED Recommends) has always been good at. If it weren't for the green snake logo on the lid, you might never know this thing has a powerful discrete GPU inside. You certainly wouldn't be able to tell from the size of the laptop, which is supremely compact. It even gets decent battery life for a gaming laptop. And when it comes to gaming, the high-resolution, OLED 120-Hz display keeps your games sharp and smooth, while the RTX 5060 (or 5070) delivers some solid performance for the size. The Larger BladePhotograph: Luke LarsenRazerBlade 16 (2025)$2,400 $1,600 (33% off) RazerThe best gaming laptop deal may be the Razer Blade 14, but the 16 is the best gaming laptop on the market. It features the latest RTX 5090 Laptop graphics card, but it’s also one of the thinnest gaming laptops sold commercially, at just 0.59 inches at its thinnest point. Reviewer Luke Larsen says the surface temperatures feel cooler, and the keyboard feels snappier (with a longer 1.5-mm key travel). —Boutayna ChokraneA Good Deal on Great PerformancePhotograph: Luke LarsenPhotograph: Luke LarsenPhotograph: Luke LarsenPhotograph: Luke LarsenChevronChevronAsusROG Strix G16 (2025)$1,500 $1,200 (20% off) Amazon (RTX 5060)$2,400 $1,880 (22% off) Amazon (RTX 5070 Ti)$2,500 Best Buy (AMD)If both the Razer Blade 16 and 14 still feel out of your budget, let me direct you toward the Asus ROG Strix G16, which is a couple of hundred dollars less. It's designed with an IPS panel with little bezels, and it can deliver over 500 nits of brightness in SDR. But the standout feature here is its use of AMD's 3D V-Cache mobile chip. Reviewer Luke Larsen says it delivers incredible performance. —Boutayna ChokraneA Truly Budget Gaming LaptopPhotograph: Luke LarsenPhotograph: Luke LarsenPhotograph: Luke LarsenPhotograph: Luke LarsenChevronChevronAcerNitro V 16 AI$969 Amazon (Ryzen 5)$899 $629 (30% off) Walmart (Ryzen 5)$1,049 $749 (29% off) Walmart (Ryzen 7)It's tough to find a gaming laptops under $1,000 that isn't atrocious—or at least, using last-generation graphics cards. The Acer Nitro V 16 with the RTX 5050, however, holds up pretty well. Despite its rock-bottom price, I found myself impressed by the performance in games. It even has a nice touchpad and keyboard. But be warned: Acer ships it with a dinky 135-watt power supply though, which can cause some performance limitations (read my full review for more information on that). But for the price, there's nothing else this cheap out there worth buying. What to Look for in a Cyber Monday Laptop DealAccordionItemContainerButtonLargeChevronShopping around for a good Cyber Monday deal isn't so different from buying a laptop at any other time of the year. We never recommend products we don't test ourselves, so if you're interested in a particular laptop on this list, check out the corresponding review. But as you shop around, you may want to factor in the following specs along with the current price of the laptop:CPUGPUMemory (RAM)StorageDisplay resolution, panel type, and refresh rateBattery lifeLastly, consider the price history. CamelCamelCamel is a useful tool to see some historical data on price drops for individual laptops. Some of the laptops included above (such as the Dell 14 Plus) are hitting new historic lows in terms of price, while others are returning to the same low price as they were on Prime Day. That doesn't mean these aren't a good deal necessarily, but it's important to know that not every deal labeled “Cyber Monday Deal” is equal, even if the percentage drop looks similar. Many products these days have permanent discounted prices at retailers, which can obscure how big of a sale it really is.For an in-depth breakdown that explains each element of a laptop, read our detailed How to Choose the Right Laptop guide. Is Now a Good Time to Buy a Laptop?AccordionItemContainerButtonLargeChevronYes. Cyber Monday isn't the only big shopping event throughout the year, and it's not uncommon to find great sales on laptops at other times, whether that's on a random day or on Amazon Prime Day(s). But Cyber Monday remains important as the beginning of the holiday shopping season. The entire annual cycle of laptop refreshes revolves around this timing. The beginning of the year starts with lots of products getting announced at CES, and then launching throughout the year. By the time Cyber Monday rolls around, companies and retailers are looking to clear out inventory to make room for incoming new stuff, which is why we still often see the biggest discounts for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This year, that timing even applies to MacBooks. Because Apple didn't refresh any Macs this fall outside the 14-inch M5 MacBook Pro, laptops like the M4 MacBook Air or M4 Pro/Max MacBook Pro are discounted with the anticipation of a refresh coming sometime in early 2026.Cyber Monday 2025Absolute Best Cyber Monday Deals (2025)Best Cyber Monday Deals Under $100 (2025)Best Cyber Monday Tech Deals (2025)Best Cyber Monday TV and Headphones Deals (2025)Best Kindle and Amazon Device Cyber Monday Deals (2025)Best Cyber Monday Home and Beauty Deals (2025)You Might Also Like …In your inbox: WIRED's most ambitious, future-defining storiesWelcome to Big Tech's ‘Age of Extraction’Big Interview: Palantir’s CEO Alex Karp goes to warStarlink devices are allegedly being used at scam compoundsLivestream: What businesses need to know about agentic AILuke Larsen is a product writer and reviewer at WIRED, covering laptops, PCs, Macs, monitors, and the wider PC peripheral ecosystem. The 14 Best Last Minute Cyber Monday Laptops Deals (2025) – Luke Larsen As the end of the year approaches, Cyber Monday presents a fantastic opportunity to snag a new laptop at a discounted price. I’ve sifted through the deluge of offers to bring you a curated selection of the best Cyber Monday laptop deals available right now. Some of my favorite laptops I’ve tested this year are on sale, and surprisingly, a few previously overpriced models have seen significant price drops. If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to upgrade your tech, now is it. Hopefully, one of these laptops will perfectly match your needs at a wide range of prices. These deals include options like the Dell 14 Plus, the Surface Laptop, the Asus Zenbook A14, and more. For more deals, check out our Absolute Best Cyber Monday Deals roundup, the Best Cyber Monday TV Deals, or the Best Cyber Monday Tech Deals. **Dell 14 Plus** Photograph: Luke Larsen The Dell 14 Plus, currently priced at $650 (41% off), offers impressive specs for the money. It features a 16 GB of RAM, 512 GB of storage, and an Intel Core Ultra 5 226V processor. This laptop avoids the common pitfalls of budget laptops—poor displays and uncomfortable touchpads. It boasts a high-resolution display (2560 x 1600) and a very smooth-feeling touchpad. This makes it a premium laptop at an affordable price, and at $500, it’s officially the best deal on a laptop this Cyber Monday. However, it’s a doorbuster-style deal, so the price may change quickly once it’s sold out. **Microsoft Surface Laptop** Photograph: Brenda Stolyar The Surface Laptop has dropped to a new all-time low price of $700 on Amazon, marking a significant discount on the high-end configuration, which includes the faster Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite chip. This feels almost unbelievable for a laptop with these features, like a glossy, 3:2 display with a 120-Hz refresh rate. While the Dell 14 Plus comes with more storage, the Surface Laptop offers a sleeker, more premium feel. **Asus Zenbook A14** Photograph: Christopher Null The Asus Zenbook A14 is one of the lightest laptops you can buy right now, weighing in at just 2.16 pounds. It's significantly lighter than the MacBook Air. Throw this thing in your bag, and you’ll hardly even notice it’s there. But what really makes this laptop special is the lack of compromises it makes to achieve that weight. It’s well-built, thin, and has a comfortable keyboard and touchpad.
