You were asking why does this website even exist?TLDR: It has 2 goals. To become the best place for daily game players to discover new games Daily Logic Exercises (DLES).To become the best place for daily game makers to launch their new Wordle clones unique games. How it all started you asked?OK then, some 3 years ago I accidentally made a little daily game called Rotaboxes — it's super niche, ~5k monthly players, very relaxing and I really enjoy working on it in my spare time. Some time ago I noticed some traffic coming from sites that seemed like DLES aggregators, most notably dles.aukspot.com. So of course I went there and discovered many more daily games I never knew existed. I was back then playing daily just Wordle, Nerdle and Rotaboxes. And I was immersed — I started to play from 5 to 10 DLEs every single day, and I kept noting the good ones and kept on playing them regularly. So that's how my little DLE collection started. I started to categorize, group, order and most importantly I built my own daily ritual. Then I was browsing Reddit and noticed some people complaining about playing so many games daily that they forget to play some and lose their streak, so I thought — hmm, maybe my ritual could be helpful to others. I put together a plan and started building. Today, some 1 year later, the site serves thousands of players monthly and features 3 to 4 new daily games every single week. That's crazy, isn't it?A couple of rules, so we understand each other. All the games listed on dles.gg are played and tested manually by me.I don't list games that are not daily.I don't list games that are not browser based.I don't list games that are not free to play.I don't list games that I don't like.I don't care if you made your game by hand, pixel by pixel, or if you used AI tools to build it or generate assets — but I hate slop. If the game lacks love, care, and a proud ownership with a human behind it, I won't list it.I make a subjective call on whether to list a game based on a bunch of criteria (I'll write about these later). How can you helpIf you regularly play a game I don't have in my collection, submit it here.If you made a game I don't have in my collection, submit it also there (ha, it's the same place). If you love a game — add it to your ritual. You will never forget to play it and it will increase the game's popularity and help it rank higher in the most-popular section. If you feel strongly about a game, rate it! 5 stars for absolute must-play, 1 star to be avoided, and anything in between. This helps other players discover the best games in the top-rated section. As you can imagine, it's near impossible to play all 839 games every day, and as we all know, maintaining a daily game is a lot of work — so sometimes, some games just stop working. If you spot one, please click on that Report broken button. I regularly check these and remove games from the site if they are no longer active. Thank you.If you'd like your favourite game to be featured, get in touch at peter@dles.gg — we'll figure something out.Oh, and you're asking how you can help personally? Amazing! Submit games, rate games, add them to your ritual — that all helps others a lot! Share your ritual with your friends. If you want to support this site financially, I accept coffee donations through BuyMeACoffee (btw, this will also unlock the entire rotaboxes.com archive for you).So that's it, really. The DLES.gg project, as articulated by Peter, is founded on two primary objectives: to establish the premier platform where daily game players can discover new games, specifically Daily Logic Exercises or DLES, and to function as a launchpad for game makers to introduce novel Wordle clones and unique games. The genesis of the site stemmed from the author’s personal experience, which began with creating a niche daily game, Rotaboxes, and subsequently discovering numerous other daily games through aggregators. This immersion led the author to systematically categorize and curate these games, establishing a personal daily ritual. Recognizing that other players struggled with maintaining consistency and streaks, the author developed the platform to offer a structured ritual that aids in engagement.

The operational philosophy of the platform is governed by a strict set of criteria for listing games, emphasizing quality and ownership. Peter personally plays and manually tests every game listed to ensure its validity. Core requirements for inclusion are that the game must be a daily game, be browser based, be free to play, and genuinely be a game that the author enjoys. Crucially, the manifesto explicitly rejects low-effort content, stating a strong aversion to "slop"; games lacking the evident love, care, and human ownership behind them are excluded from the platform.

The community is encouraged to participate actively in the site’s curation and maintenance through several mechanisms. Users are invited to submit games they have discovered or created that are not currently listed. Furthermore, users can enhance the platform by adding games to their personal ritual, which serves to increase the visibility and ranking of those games within the most popular sections. Another vital mechanism involves rating games, where users provide a star rating to help others identify the best offerings. To maintain the integrity of the content, a system is in place for reporting broken games, which the author regularly reviews and removes when games are no longer active.

The author also addresses the sustainability of the platform, noting that the extensive volume of games makes playing everything daily impractical. To support continued development, financial contributions, such as coffee donations via BuyMeACoffee, are accepted, which unlock additional content, including the full archive of rotaboxes.com. Ultimately, the site functions as a dynamic ecosystem designed to foster discovery, promote quality control, and support a dedicated community around daily gaming experiences.
