Snapchat is introducing a new feature called Plans, which is designed to facilitate the planning and execution of real-life events and meetups directly within the application. This feature aims to bridge the gap between digital planning, typically occurring in group chats, and actual physical gatherings, allowing users to organize events such as birthday celebrations, study sessions, and weekend hangouts without needing to leave the Snapchat environment. The functionality of Plans encompasses several key mechanisms. Users are able to define the specific details of an event, extend invitations to up to two hundred friends, and incorporate dynamic personalization through invitations adorned with Bitmoji that evolve based on friend responses.
