The gameplay is structured around a timed challenge, where players are given a series of images, with a total time limit of sixty seconds, allocating up to ten seconds per image. Participants must choose between two options for each image: Real photo or AI-generated. Interaction methods are provided through both physical swiping and tapping options. Specifically, on mobile devices, users can swipe the image left to indicate a real photo or swipe right to indicate an AI-generated image, or they can utilize the on-screen buttons, which correspond to selecting 1 for a real photo and 2 for an AI-generated result. The game design emphasizes the constraint of time, as the clock continues running irrespective of the player's response time.

The scoring mechanism incorporates an incentive-based system tied to streaks of correct answers. A correct identification earns 100 points, whereas an incorrect answer results in a deduction of 100 points. To encourage sustained accuracy, the system rewards sequential correct answers with increasing bonuses. For instance, achieving a three-image streak grants an additional 150 points, a five-image streak awards 200 points, and a streak of ten or more results in a bonus of 300 points. A crucial element of the scoring is that any incorrect answer or any timeout immediately resets the current streak, emphasizing the need for continuous, accurate decision-making throughout the time limit. Timeouts result in zero points being awarded for that specific image. The foundation of the imagery used in the game is sourced from AI images generated using GPT Image 2.5.
